This Clovelly home came with strong materials: dark walnut joinery, a richly veined stone island and glass on every side. We styled it for sale with furniture that warms those finishes up and keeps the rooms feeling light.
In the living area, a low modular sofa and a pair of swivel armchairs sit on a round rug, with rust and chocolate cushions picking up the colours in the stone. Soft green abstract artworks bring in the garden outside, and a tan velvet armchair by the fireplace makes a quiet spot to sit.
The dining table is paired with deep burgundy leather chairs, and woven stools tuck under the kitchen island. In the bathroom, a few simple pieces on a stone tray finish the room without cluttering it.
